Biography
Claire serves at Summit by planning & leading events like our Women In Leadership Development programs and creating curriculum content for an extensive range of program types.
A connector & teacher at heart, her involvement with formal leadership development started in high school and first met the outdoors when she coordinated the University of North Texas Eagle Camp for 2 years (GO MEAN GREEN!). After college, she taught 2nd grade & Special Education, while directing City of Pflugerville's Pfun Camp, and training staff and volunteers for a Christian camp. Her recent season of service has been with MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) International, where she launched a new group in Central TX, led online cohorts for training & supporting MOPS Coordinators from around the US, and while living in Haiti, she worked with local women to launch the first MOPS community in the country.
She currently offers custom training workshops specifically for teachers & parents on topics like Leadership 101, Behavior Management, & Child Abuse Prevention. To set up a custom training event with Claire, email her at claire@summitlead.org.
Claire says she's most excited to work together with this team's individual experiences & giftings to inspire & encourage other leaders from all walks of life. Her mission is that any participant of a Summit program walks away better equipped to serve the Kingdom & change the world.

Why were you called to this ministry?
“Bryan and I have dreamed about this ministry for over a decade. We're extremely passionate about leadership, discipleship, and the outdoors, especially when doing these types of ministry together. I'm always pumped to see God work through individuals as they experience Him in the outdoors, and I love seeing leaders pursue Jesus wholeheartedly in order to deeply impact the world around them. I’m grateful for the journey God has taken us on to get here, and I can't wait to see where else He leads us!”
