#GivingTuesday

SUMMIT Family,

Over the past 10 years, Giving Tuesday has become an important, necessary counterpoint to the biggest shopping days of the year. Just a couple days ago (on Black Friday), I wrote to you about gratitude - that was intentional! Gratitude combines two of the 10 Core Leadership Skills we teach in every single SUMMIT program:

VISION
(Gaining true perspective on ourselves, our situation, our spheres of influence)
+
STEWARDSHIP
(The faithful handling of the resources with which we've been entrusted)

Here's the deal - Today, everyone is asking you to donate.

Whether you're here because you're a community leader, an alumnus of our programs, or a friend of the family, you're a piece of the SUMMIT Outdoor Leadership family. SUMMIT is a young ministry, and we're thankful that you're here.

It's literally going to be the biggest single day of giving in history. Join us with a gift of $10, $25, $50, or $500.

Your gift matters.
It builds our capacity to equip leaders.

In the 8 months since incorporating as a non-profitSUMMIT Team has held:
+ 5 outdoor ministry programs
+ 5 CPR certification courses
+ 4 leadership soft skills training for local churches and ministries

The SUMMIT Team are all volunteers, pouring our own finances into seeing these powerful programs grow. We are entering a season of growing capacity to more effectively serve & train a larger number of leaders & organizations. Please jump in alongside us!

Here's how gifts today will build our capacity to train & develop leaders:

40% - PROGRAM EQUIPMENT - Wilderness Expeditions start-up costs
10% - PERMITS & ACCESS - to unlock new program areas
15% - TRAINING & CERTIFICATIONS - to better equip others
35% - SCHOLARSHIPS - to make training affordable for anyone

Would you please give today to support the ministry of SUMMIT?

We’re standing at the trailhead, gearing up & preparing to set out for the SUMMIT.

Please join us in the adventure by donating to start-up costs, equipment, & initial program expenses. Or you could support one of our core team families as we work toward devoting our full time toward this mission.

On behalf of the amazing team at SUMMIT Outdoor Leadership,
Bryan Turner,
Executive Director & Lead Guide

"I went on the Pocket Wilderness Intensive for 4 days and 3 nights. I met many guys who were seeking to assess past and current life, and learn how to take next step. I had some expectation going in, but came out with something very different.

I think it is a good thing that I was challenged and sharing struggles that we have in our life. It was a great reset experience."
