Introducing Summit Outdoor Leadership
It all began with prayer. Prayer in solitude. Prayer with close family & friends. Prayer with each other.
We prayed, collaborated, then proceeded in faith to launch Summit Outdoor Leadership in February 2022.
We couldn’t be more excited to share the news with you about who we are and what’s coming up soon, so come along and check out what we’re all about!
WHO WE ARE:
Summit Outdoor Leadership is a faith-based leadership development organization equipping leaders with solid truth, experience through challenge & adventure, & practical tools to elevate their leadership.
WE EXIST TO EQUIP LEADERS
through outdoor experiences & intentional challenges
built upon the foundation of Biblical principles & proven development processes
in order to cultivate personal & professional growth that changes the world.
OUR CLASSROOM IS THE OUTDOORS:
Summit programs operate on a wide spectrum of "wilderness"
Leveraging natural resources in both private and public lands, and varying in intensity 10-day backcountry travel on Wilderness Leadership Expeditions to relaxing glamping-style cabin weekends, we want to make it possible for leaders at all levels to:
Escape the distractions of “real life,”
Encounter God in His creation,
Be challenged mentally, physically, & spiritually,
Be equipped with practical skills and training
Prepare a battle plan for returning to where you serve & lead
We ask you to partner with us on this journey in one or more of the following ways:
1. PRAY
We need a team of solid prayer warriors. Our Core Team has a timer set to pray from 4:11 to 4:16 each day (a reminder of Ephesians 4:11-16)
Will you commit to praying with us at 4:11pm each day?
Set an alarm & join us in powerful prayer!
2. PROVIDE
We have big dreams for this ministry, but with big dreams come big needs.
At what level can you support our ministry monthly?
We’re looking for general partners to contribute to start-up costs, ongoing expenses, and program equipment. Each family is also raising support in order to compensate our team members for the work we pour into our ministry.
3. PROMOTE
Who do you know that would benefit from the unique leadership training style of Summit Outdoor Leadership?
