COLORADO HIGH COUNTRY: Biblical Wilderness Intensive

  • Red Bear Haus (Course Start & End) 38 Forest Service Road 250 Antonito, CO, 81120 United States (map)

Co-ed 6-Day/5-Night Biblical Wilderness Intensive

How has God used wilderness in the lives of His people?

Join us for a deep dive to answer that question!

Be refreshed and challenged through deep community with other believers and through solos (time alone with God). Reconnect with the God through His Creation and His Word. Reset your rhythms and establish some new ones that will benefit your mind, soul, and body!

WHAT WERE YOU MADE FOR?

Escape your distractions & dive deep into a transformative wilderness experience.

$799 for 6 days, 5 nights of backpacking, food, activities, & spiritual development programming

  • Primitive camping in a deep pocket of wilderness. We will backpack into the campsites (the hike in is less than 5 miles), & keep camp in the same location for 2 nights, then move to another campsite for 3 nights.

  • Teaching sessions will be in the campsite or on dayhikes away from camp.

  • This curriculum incorporates the spiritual disciplines of community, fellowship, scripture reading, prayer, silence, solitude, & service.

  • We will build up the healthy habit of “Time Alone With God” (sometimes called a “quiet time” or “devotional”), starting a short time in the morning, building up to a full-day solo.

  • We will also examine the stories of our lives (sometimes called a “testimony”), asking the Lord what story He would have us remember & share with others.

IMPORTANT: While couples are welcome, this is not a marriage/couples-focused event. The focus should be on individuals seeking connection with the Lord & with the community formed at the event. Each participant will have opportunities to be solo as well as together in community with other participants.

Minors may attend with parent/guardian, but will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for the level of social/emotional maturity necessary to benefit from this course.
