Let's take a hike! Join our SUMMIT volunteers/staff for a quick sunset adventure in Bastrop State Park!

This casual meetup is just a chance to enjoy the outdoors with friends -- new and old! We'll do some light hiking and casual conversations about nature appreciation, LNT principles, and trail tips along the way. We enjoy finding a good ol' pocket of wilderness to engage in outdoor recreation and celebrate God's creation.   • Pay your own park entrance fee & meet us at the parking lot next to the pool. We'll aim to hit the trails right at 5:30, so arrive early to be ready by then! (Or make arrangements with us to meet elsewhere if needed.)

  • Pack some snacks or a simple picnic dinner & bring the whole family.

  • Be sure to wear sturdy shoes & comfortable clothing (weather appropriate), & don't forget to bring a water bottle.

  • We look forward to exploring with you!
