October Update
OCTOBER 2022 UPDATE
Dear Summit Family,
The past month has been a fantastic time of planning and preparation for the upcoming Pocket Wilderness Intensive and other upcoming programs. On October 20, a group of men will be meeting us in the central TX Hill Country for a weekend focused on spiritual development & time in the wilderness. Would you join us in prayer for this weekend?
Our team welcomed Jeremy and Lindsey Thomasson as they relocated their family from Dallas to Bastrop to support ministry programs more closely. We're delighted to have them on board and the momentum is building!
On October 1, Summit was excited to be the first non-profit sponsored at this year's Community Gardens Pumpkin Patch. This was a fun event to get the word out, and 10% of pumpkin sales were donated to SUMMIT!
We also were able to run two American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, & AED certification courses in September -- one for the children's volunteers of Calvary Baptist Church & one for leaders at the international relief organization Mission of Hope. Do you know of an organization or school in need of this kind of practical skill equipping?
God has made our mission clear: to equip leaders. He's been doing so many things to open doors and make that happen. Please join us in praying and consider donating to be a part of what God is doing through His ministry at SUMMIT!

Summit Outdoor Leadership exists to equip leaders.

Summit Outdoor Leadership is a faith-based leadership development organization, equipping leaders with solid truth, experience through challenge & adventure, & practical tools to elevate their leadership.

1. PRAY
We need a team of prayer warriors. The core team at SUMMIT has a timer set to stop & pray from 4:11 to 4:16 each day (a reminder of Ephesians 4:11-16)
Will you commit to praying for SUMMIT at 4:11pm each day? Set an alarm & join us in prayer!
2. PARTNER
We are following the Lord in building His ministry at SUMMIT, and confident He will provide. He is doing it through partnering with people like you. Is He calling you to join in?
We’re gearing up & need donations to contribute to start-up costs, equipment, & program expenses. You could also choose to support one of our core team families as we work toward devoting our full time toward this mission.
3. PROMOTE
